Facilities
The reading room in the PThU Library is a great place to study. There are computers and wireless internet for staff, students and visitors, as well as printing, copying and scanning facilities. Visitors are warmly welcomed to make use of the coffee and tea machines!
Because of the limited availability of study places at our temporary location, visitors are advised to avoid days when classes are held on location (Wednesday and Friday). We cannot guarantee availability of study places at this time.
Place to study
At our location, you can find a reading room with several study places. The reading room contains a large collection of frequently consulted reference works on Biblical studies, Church History, Dogmatics, Philosophy of religion, Intercultural Theology, Religious studies, Practical Theology, Pastoral care, Ethics and several encyclopaedias and dictionaries. In addition you will find a large number of national and international journals in various languages and some electronic databases (ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials, Religion & Philosophy Collection, e-Book Religion collection).
Library introduction programme
We offer a library introduction programme to all international students in early September. This programme will teach you how to use the library, the library catalogue and other databases. If you're in need of support during the year or you need help finding literature, our library staff is of course available to you. You can always contact us at library@pthu.nl.
Copies or scans from books or journals from the PThU collection
You can ask the library staff to make copies for you. The cost for these copies are € 6,50 per request for PThU students.
